Hunan Cuisine Restaurant embodies the fragrant and spicy food of Hunan Province in Central China. Hunan cuisine is one of the eight great cuisines of China.
Hunan cuisine is crafted from a diverse selection of ingredients, which produces an array of flavors: the colors are indulgent and rich, yet humble; the flavor palette is spicy, fragrant, and tender.
Hunan chefs use many techniques, such as simmering, stewing, curing, steaming, and stir frying. Signature dishes include Chopped Pepper with Steamed Fish Head, Stir-fried Chili Pepper with Pork, Xiangxi Grandma’s Special Dish, Hengyang Fish Noodles, Yongzhou Duck Blood, and Steamed Cured Meats.
In order to uphold the mission of serving authentic Hunan cuisine in Chicago and preserving its hometown essence, Hunan Cuisine Restaurant Catering Company has brought in culinary masters all the way from Hunan. We sourced authentic ingredients such as white peppers, dried radishes, and dried beans directly from Hunan.
